Obituaries & Death Notices

On this page, we pay tribute to those who have passed. If you would like your loved one to feature on this page, or if you require any assistance writing the obituary, please discuss your needs with our professionals. Working alongside the bereaved family, we’ll create a funeral announcement that will detail key information, such as the name and photograph of your loved one, along with the funeral service time, location and date, and any information regarding charitable donations or floral tributes. These can be uploaded to our site or included in the local or national newspaper.

Church View Funeral Services are committed to serving families in the local community, including Chesham, Amersham and Berkhamsted. As independent, third-generation funeral directors, we’re dedicated to creating a funeral service that celebrates the life of your loved one.

COVID-19 Update

Funeral services are currently continuing to be held, but in light of the extreme seriousness of the situation we are now asking you to limit the number of immediate family attending funerals to no more than 25. This will enable people to keep to the governments recommended distance from each other and to limit the risk of infection to funeral directors staff and those conducting funeral services.

We will be encouraging funeral arrangements to be made via an appointment system with a maximum of two people visiting our offices, but, with a preference to arranging via telephone/e-mail or video call.

We thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times.
